Calling all volunteers, wannabee volunteers and groups who use volunteers!

As part of the John Kyrle 300 celebrations we are planning to run a Festival of Volunteering in St Mary’s church on Saturday 28th September 2024 from 4 – 8pm. This is our way of celebrating the work of the amazing volunteers who are the lifeblood for the many voluntary organisations in and around Ross and everyone is very welcome.

There will be live music compliments of Chocolate Teapot who many of you will know as fellow volunteers Dene Godfrey and John Winder and we may have a few extra instruments (or bring your own) for a bit of a jam! The Motley Hog Brewery will have a pop up bar with a range of beer/cider/wine and soft drinks and there will also be a photo booth for some fun selfies. Everyone who comes along will also be able to pick up a commemorative button badge – like a Blue Peter Badge for volunteers! 

If you are an existing volunteer or are interested in volunteering please just come along on the day.

If you are a voluntary organisation please email info@rosscdt.org.uk to register and confirm numbers. We are also asking groups to bring one sweet and one savoury small plate.
