There are plenty of opportunities to work as a volunteer with charities and local organisations in Ross-on-Wye and across Herefordshire. The Ross-on-Wye Community Development Trust is keen to support these groups by promoting vacancies, as well as the work that these groups do.

Advisers, Receptionists and Research & Campaigns volunteers needed! A weekly commitment enables CA to help people with the problems they face. No formal qualifications or experience required - all volunteers complete full, comprehensive training. If you can use Microsoft Word, are a good listener, a team player, open-minded, non-judgmental and able to meet the time commitment, get in touch! Reasonable travel expenses paid.

RVS needs volunteer drivers to provide Community Transport where mobility issues can make it difficult or impossible for people to use public transport or if transport is limited due to rural locations.
