Govardhan Eco Farm is an organic farm based on 3 acres of land on The Doward.

Ross Town Band
New members are always welcome in all sections
We are a friendly band that get together for the enjoyment of making music and entertaining the people of Ross and surrounding areas, we are a non-contesting and non-marching brass band. Our repertoire is wide and varied.
Main Band rehearsals take place in The Larruperz Centre in Ross on Friday evenings from 7:30pm to 9pm
(First room on the right as you enter the building). You are welcome to drop in for a blow or, if you prefer, contact us first.
If you want to brush up your existing playing skills, why not come along to the Training Band which meets at The Larruperz Centre on Friday evenings from 6:00pm to 7pm.
Never played a brass instrument before, or maybe not since school!, at any age (you are never too old!)
We would love to get you going in this amazing hobby, we will teach you from the ground up, from your first blow.
We meet at the Larruperz Centre on Friday evenings at 5:30 to 6pm
Professional tuition is also available.

Our Retail Assistant volunteers are the first point of contact for our customers when they enter our shops.
As Retail Assistant volunteer you will greet customers, help them find the items they’re looking for and answer their questions where you can. With support from the shop team, your invaluable efforts at keeping the sales floor well stocked and organised will help us make a mission possible by raising as much as we can to fund lifesaving missions.
You will be helping to promote our awareness campaigns and encouraging every donor to become part of our Gift Aid scheme.
If you want to get to know the community around, you this is a perfect way to integrate yourself into your local area and become a part of our team.
This is a flexible Retail Assistant role where you can try different roles throughout the shop until you find your niche, such as putting your own stamp on the shop displays and keeping our shop stocked.
Our shop volunteers are essential to the running of our shops - we couldn’t do it without them. You will be part of a small team raising funds to help the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity

- Provide friendly customer service to our amazing supporters
- Keeping the shop floor stocked and liaising with the stock room team for what is needed
- Promote the charity though campaigns and promotions
- Working shop displays alongside the team
- Keeping the shop floor tidy, clean and well organised

Ross-on-Wye Horizon Centre
The Ross-on-Wye Horizon Centre is a day centre for adults with learning and other disabilities. We are always looking for people who would like to share their time and skills with others, making a difference to people's lives.
Do you have a hobby that you would like to share with people with learning disabilities? We are looking for volunteers to help out with activities such as woodworking, crafts, music, exercise and gardening. Please get in touch - we would be very happy to hear from you.

Ross On Wye Scout Group
Ross Scout Group currently runs Cubs (age 8 to 10.5 years) and Scouts (age 10.5 to 14 years). We are looking for volunteers to join our team of leaders so that we can continue to support young people in Ross. With additional adult volunteers we would be able to restart our Beavers section (age 6-8 years).
We are also looking for volunteers to join our Trustee Board to help with governance of the Group.
You don’t need to have children in Scouting, have prior experience or be available every week so any time you can give to volunteering with Scouting would be very welcome.

If so, EnviroAbility would love to hear from you as they are currently looking for a willing volunteer to drive one of their vehicles, transporting their friendly Can Do team to and from jobs, preferably Mondays and Thursdays (can be flexible). Mentor Link
Mentor Link is working with a foster care agency in Ross-on-Wye and need Volunteer Mentors to support Looked After Children and young people. RVS needs volunteer drivers to provide Community Transport where mobility issues can make it difficult or impossible for people to use public transport or if transport is limited due to rural locations.
