The Steering Group for Ross District Community Land Trust was established following the launch at a Ross CDT Facebook Live event in March 2021. It currently has a small core group of members who are conscious of the local affordability problems with housing in the Ross-on-Wye area. The group now really needs additional members to ensure its future and if the membership is not expanded by a significant number of – probably younger – people who have a direct interest in obtaining locally managed housing then the existing group will be disbanded by summer 2023.
