Ross Rotary had a busy couple of months with new members joining and lots of fun at Christmas buying presents for Ukranian guests at their party on 17 Dec, organised by the Ukrainian Volunteers Group. Also over Christmas, Ross Rotary were delighted to fund the town centre Christmas tree again – and what a beautiful tree it was! Heartfelt thanks to all for the lovely comments received. The Rotary team is also very pleased to support a local Girl Guide to help her attend the ‘Intops’ event in the Netherlands this year – hopefully she’ll have a valuable experience and will return with lots of news about her experiences.
Finally, Ross Rotary would like to highlight that they are only able to support these events out of the charity money raised at the Ross Beer & Cider Festival jointly run by themselves and the Lions Club. The festival will be held once again on the first May Bank Holiday weekend so do come and support them (tickets will be available online from the www.rossbeerfest.org website or Miles Morgan travel agency on Broad Street).
