The Ross Action Committee has received a generous donation of £700 from the Ross Lions Club, further strengthening the partnership between two of Ross-on-Wye’s most community-focused organisations.
The donation will help fund upcoming projects aimed at improving local amenities and supporting vulnerable residents. Representatives from both groups gathered for a brief ceremony to mark the occasion, celebrating their shared commitment to civic engagement and grassroots action.
Ross Lions, known for their tireless fundraising and volunteer work, expressed their admiration for the Action Committee’s dedication to making Ross-on-Wye a better place for all. “We’re proud to support the Ross Action Committee in their efforts,” said a spokesperson from the Lions. “This donation reflects our belief in the power of local collaboration.”
The Ross Action Committee thanked the Lions for their continued support, noting that the funds will go directly toward initiatives that benefit the town’s residents. Whether it’s enhancing public spaces, organising community events, or providing assistance to those in need, the donation will make a meaningful impact.
This latest contribution is a testament to the spirit of cooperation that defines Ross-on-Wye, where local groups work hand-in-hand to build a stronger, more inclusive community.
