Autism Social Group

Autism West Midlands have a social group in Hereford for anyone over the age of 16 who identifies as autistic. This group will be facilitated by Autism West Midlands staff.

As of August 2025, the group currently runs on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month. From October 2025, it will only run on the 4th Thursday of the month.

Other Autism West Midlands Activities

As part of our community service, our structured support sessions and group programme (Autism Confident) is available to anyone aged 16+ who identifies as autistic – they may have a diagnosis, awaiting diagnosis, or identify as autistic without having a formal diagnosis.

1:1 sessions are information, advice and guidance based sessions to support an individual through a specific support need. Autism Confident is a 6 week programme for autistic adults, where they can learn about their autism, develop their knowledge and engage in discussions in a small, like-minded group. Both of these services are offered online and in-person.

Autism West Midlands are offering Autism Confident for autistic teens aged 13-19 in Herefordshire and Worcestershire. The course covers topics around autism such as what autism is, social interaction and communication, sharing about being autistic, happiness and wellbeing. We also offer free online webinars for parents and carers of autistic children and teens, and professionals across Herefordshire and Worcestershire, covering a range of topics.
