This group exists to ensure that our Library remains a vibrant hub for the local community. In the face of upcoming HCC 2026 budget constraints, we are never more relevant to the continued success of the Library. We hold interesting events for members and fundraise towards the ‘extras’ that Council funding does not cover, e.g. coffee machine, children’s activities, etc.

We need enthusiastic, committed volunteers to run events and to sit on the Committee. We especially need a Treasurer. This involves simple record keeping, bank reconciliation and annual profit & loss accounts. Help is available and we handle fewer than a 100 transactions annually.
