Ross Penyard Singers: ‘A Season to Sing’
Ross Penyard Singers, together with the Ross Academy Choir and the Royal Forest of Dean Orchestra will be performing in their concert ‘A Season to Sing’ on Saturday, 22nd November at 7.00pm in St Mary’s Church , Ross-on-Wye.
The main piece of music they will be singing is a choral re-imagining of Vivaldi’s ‘The Four Seasons’ by Joanna Forbes L’Estrange, called ‘A Season to Sing’. The Singers are one of the fifty-five co-commissioning choirs for this new piece of music which was published in the 300th anniversary year of Vivaldi’s most famous piece of work. They are very excited to be performing it in Ross-on-Wye for the very first time.
