Explain the actions to take if they suspect a person is being abused or neglected
Explain the terms ‘safeguarding adults’ and their role in local procedures
List the main types of abuse
List the signs and symptoms associated with abuse
List a range of factors that feature in adult abuse and/or neglect
Describe the importance of person centred care and what can be done to promote dignity
Respond to a suspected or disclosed allegation of abuse
Explain how to protect individuals from harm and abuse
Explain how to apply basic principles to help individuals to keep themselves safe
Complete accurate records in line with local procedures
