Autism Social Group
Autism West Midlands are setting up an Autism Social group in Hereford for anyone over the age of 16 who identifies as autistic. This group will be facilitated by Autism West Midlands and the content of the groups will be decided by the people attending with support from Autism West Midlands staff.
Our first group will start on Thursday 13th February 1pm-3pm at a location in Hereford (TBC) and will run every 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month.
We are aware that some autistic people can’t always access face to face services due to many factors so we have also set up an online social group for anyone who identifies as autistic aged 16+ which will run the same way the face to face social group does but via Teams. The first one will be on Wednesday 19th February 6pm-8pm via Teams.
Both are free to attend. Please note The Face to face one will be held in a cafe in Hereford City Centre and attendees will need to purchase any drinks or food items they wish to purchase.

Other Autism West Midlands Activities
Autism West Midlands are offering an online psychoeducation course for autistic teens aged 13-19 in Herefordshire and Worcestershire. The course covers topics around autism such as what is autism?, social interaction and communication, sharing about being autistic, happiness and wellbeing. The course is ran via Teams. Autism West Midlands are offering Free online webinars for parents and carers of autistic children and teens across Herefordshire and Worcestershire. they will be starting Wednesday 26th February 10.30am-12.30pm and running weekly for 7 weeks covering a range of topics.
